Gotta give it up to Smith. He turned that into a truly heartfelt acceptance speech.
Not sure why ABC lost the picture a couple times. They never should have taken the camera off of him. Fail on the director for that.

I was dead asleep. Not as a statement about the Oscars at all - I’ve just been under the weather all weekend. Then I was suddenly awakened with hails of texts from everyone I ever met. My first thought was something bad happened to someone I love. Turns out it did.

That was some speech by Smith. It's hard to mention God's purpose for you without sounding like a crazy person. I wonder what he would have said if he hadn't hit Rock. The speech was all about him justifying what he did, wasn't it? I can't believe this turned into one of the most entertaining Oscar show in years

Knowing that he would win, it'd be strange either way but again....Jesus, in a show peppered with messages, what one does it show by allowing one man to assault another on your stage and then let the guy who committed assault stay in the front row of your show.
Oscars was the #1 trend until about a half hour ago. Its all been Will Smith ever since.
