The Roku channel always gives me the creeps. It’s like that weird station that plays all the off-the-wall public domain content, that’s public domain because no one wants it.

It was very sad. While Al was on tour in my neck of the woods, his parents were both found dead due to a carbon monoxide leak in their home. Terrible.

As a side note, when I lived in San Diego I would go to a lot of shows at the House of Blues. I would get there early so I could stand up close in front of the stage. The location would give an odd angle of looking up when the artist would get close to the edge of the stage. Sometimes I could see up the nostrils of artists. Liz Phair, Susanna Hoffs, Terri Nunn and... Weird Al.

I just don't need a Weird Al Biopic. And unlike the movies about Elton John or Freddie Mercury where I was able to see past the actor, all I see here is Harry Potter in a bad wig.

Much like Roku's recent scripted original, Swimming with Sharks, I fully expect a mid-budgeted, gloss and sheen mess.
