This has pre-sale tickets via Regal and Harkins theaters. None of those are near me, so if it doesn't play at AMC or even Landmark, I will blind buy the 4K disc.

Ok, so it will be playing at AMCs after all. Just snagged my tickets for a Thursday night showing in one of the small screens. It does have "AMC Laser," so at least the presentation will be nice and new.

I'm planning to see this Saturday. Hopefully it's fun. Not expecting this to do well at the box office. Last minute pickup by Lionsgate, not much promotion and it's going against Creed III and Ant-Man's 3rd week, even though it's falling off. And Cocaine Bear was No. 1 last week and will still take up some eyes. Just not enough eyes, time and money to go around.

Saw this last night and it was a lot of fun. Plaza stole every scene she was in, as did Hugh Grant. Definitely gonna get this on 4K disc.

I just got back from seeing it. It was fun, but a little disjointed. But, I had a good time overall. Too bad this was marketed terribly and my guess is that hardly anyone knew this movie was coming out. There was like 6 people in the theater seeing this aside from me. The theater was busy, but I assume most went to see Creed III.
There was some good action scenes and banter. I agree with ^^^ Aubrey Plaza and Hugh Grant were the highlights. Plaza's Sarah was great and she looked great. Grant was funny and over the top as the pseudo-villain.
Statham honestly was basically the same character he plays in most of his movies. If his name wasn't Orson Fortune, this could have easily been a Deckard Shaw solo movie. I did also like Cary Elwes as their handler.
The ending sort of felt like it was setting up a sequel, which is unlikely to happen.
I'd probably give it a B and 3 out of 5 stars.

Aubrey Plaza and Hugh Grant were fun, but this was bad. A big step down from the Gentlemen and Wrath of Man. The script is a mess and features one of the most underwhelming endings I can remember. It's almost like they just ran out of time/money/ideas and called it a day. The movie is awkwardly edited and I can't tell if it was a stylistic choice or if it was Ritchie and co. trying to salvage something that obviously wasn't working. It just never gets out of second gear. And unfortunately for the film, the moments that do work only serve to remind the audience of what could have been.

It wasn’t as good as The Gentlemen or Wrath of Man, but I thought it was breezy fun, and not as convoluted or violent as I thought it might be. I liked Plaza’s character, and she looked amazing. No question the ending and title set it up to be a series, and I would watch a sequel if it ever did happen.

I was expecting a very blah movie and I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. It had great locations and fun banter between the actors. Josh Hartnett’s character wasn’t nearly as distracting as I thought he would be and actually hd some enjoyable scenes.
I’ll go against the grain and say that Aubrey Plaza was the weak link. She just felt out of place in this type of movie. Every scene she was in, she stuck out like a sore thumb. She wasn’t bad, necessarily, just out of place.
Removing the nationalities of the bad guys didn’t affect the movie whatsoever. This isn’t the type of movie that demands to know where the bad guys are from. Non-descript Europeans was just fine (and the main bad guy seemed to be American anyway).
Overall, not Ritchie’s best but still a lot of fun!
This movie seemed to have gotten jacked around a lot prior to release and I can’t imagine the ridiculously stupid title helped so it’s a shame this probably won’t get a sequel. There are a lot of stories they could write for this crew. I mean when you get right down to it, this was basically a Mission: Impossible movie.

FYI, this movie is now on Starz for anyone who hasn't seen it yet and doesn't feel like buying it.
