Oh yeah that looks pretty awesome. Great to see Maggie Q back in an action role again.
Richard Wenk, who wrote this movie, is the writer of the 2 Equalizer movies.

That trailer looks fantastic! I’m looking forward to this. Samuel L. Jackson and Micheal Keaton automatically make any movie better.
Are you trying to kill my buzz? The first Equalizer was somewhat fun. The second one was a tedious slog.

More importantly, it's directed by Martin Campbell - known for Goldeneye, Casino Royale.....and Green Lantern. But Maggie Q, so I'm automatically in.

Martin Campbell made some cool movies, some stinkers too. This looks like another John Wick clone, but one of the better ones.

Wenk also wrote/directed Vamp, which is an awesome little film. From Dusk till Dawn is pretty much a remake of Vamp.
What did throw me off was that it's branded with that Lionsgate Media banner, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of those day and date releases. I'm still interested even if they do kill Sam (they show it in the fucking trailer).

Am I misreading that poster or are they really marketing 19 executive producers?

No it's theatrical

August 20 (Friday)
FinchPaw Patrol: The Movie
The Protégé
Reminiscence (Theaters + HBO Max)
Demonic (Theaters)
The Night House (Theaters)
First showing would mention if it's VOD as well. This is a pretty high profile action movie, not the Grindstone shit that Bruce Willis puts out.
You were looking at the Millennium logo which says Media. Pretty much all their releases are theatrical.

I know a lot of movie buffs understand that Executive Producer is a useless credit but I doubt many casual movie watchers know that. I’m sure they think Dragos Buliga and Vladimir D. Fernandes were on set every day keeping the production running smoothly.

Out this week. No reviews yet, but I’ve read a few comments from early screenings. It sounds like it is just another bland action movie and the trailer shows the whole thing.
I’ll probably still end up seeing it.

I'm planning to see it on Friday.
Maggie Q is always a draw for me. Not expecting this to reinvent the wheel with action movies.

Not terrible. I was entertained overall...The action was decent, the plot was pretty weak... but I got to look at Maggie Q for two hours. Michael Keaton was awesome.

Just got out of seeing it. It's not the best action movie I've seen lately, but it's pretty decent and entertaining. Maggie Q is great. Looks great and she had some badass action and hand to hand combat scenes. I was also quite impressed with Michael Keaton. The dude is 69 and he had some good action and fight scenes. He had some good chemistry with Maggie Q. I know Maggie Q likes older men, so maybe that helped. The story is a little formulaic and it does get a little convoluted. But overall a decent B spy/hitman action thriller and matinee if you're looking for something to watch.
