Great title and I enjoyed Mackie in the role in the mini series. Excited to see what they do with it here!

Falcon taking over for Captain America is straight out of the comics.

Iím not sure how much they still use it, but at least in the 80ís & 90ís, evangelicals used the term New World Order to refer to the rise of a single, totalitarian government ruling the whole world, led by the antichrist.

best juice him up with super soldier serum within the first 30 mins or just go ahead and rename it "third rate iron man: new world order".

i would love to see Peggy Carter get a movie with the shield as she had in the Doctor Strange movie, Honestly, most of these Marvel movies are going to only be seen by me on Disney+ as I'm not a fanatic and still feel a little burned out on Marvel. I simply don't see a ton of appeal to this arc even if they are interconnected stories.

You don't, but plenty do. The MCU started way back in 2008. We're heading into another generation and there are a LOT of people who have never seen the first movies who are just getting into this for the first time. There's still a lot of appeal to be had with this universe.

But what if I have to write a 4000-word think piece on how a company that's still churning out billion dollar movies is failing?

Yeah, I think most people still use it as a conspiratorial term. Like the ones who talk about COVID and UN Agenda 21 in the same sentence, with or without a religious bent.

Maybe "New World Order" implies some kind of Illuminati.

Kind of mind-blowing when you think about them finally pulling the trigger on The Leader subplot, introduced in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, after more than fifteen years...

I am now interested, because of Leader. It took long enough to get him in there.

I'm so not used to seeing The Leader being an adversary for Cap, but glad he's back!

Between this and Abomination popping up again itís good mojo for the underrated Incredible Hulk movie. Maybe weíll see Betty Ross and Doc Samson finally get some screen time again soon!

Marvel responds to controversy over Captain America 4 casting (msn.com)

Marvel Studios has responded to controversy over the casting of actress Shira Haas as the Israeli superheroine Sabra in Captain America: New World Order.

The Middle Eastern arm of The New York Times reports that there is a worry that the casting and the character would be pro-Israel propaganda, when the country has a long and violent history with Palestine.

The character's name is also said to have potentially unfortunate implications.

In a statement issued to the publication regarding Haas' casting as Sabra, Marvel Studios said: "While our characters and stories are inspired by the comics, they are always freshly imagined for the screen and today's audience, and the filmmakers are taking a new approach with the character Sabra who was first introduced in the comics over 40 years ago."

Never forget the atrocities committed in Sokovia.
