Of course they’re going to say that now that Zaslav is in charge.

They’re just mad because people prefer Snyder’s version over the studio’s theatrical shitfest.

With a little foresight (and I agree, widescreen) this could have been a couple solid moneymakers for WB. Justice League: Part 1 and Justice League: Part 2 released a few months apart could have done well.

But that would have involved waiting on Snyder to complete the movie and put at risk their executives' bonuses.
I too agree that this should have been two part release, per their original theatrical schedule (which was to be Justice League 1, Aquaman, The Flash, and then Justice League 2).
I actually like the 4:3 presentation of ZSJL but agree they should have just released it at 1.78:1 (same for the IMAX scenes of the remastered BvS) and/or make the 4:3 version an optional/alternate release.

It’s funny that anyone thinks WB at the time of “Justice League” would have made any correct decisions (including not putting Zack Snyder in charge of anything).

Somewhere in the multiverse, 1999-Snyder released a 2.35:1 ratio Justice League movie direct to video and TV and everyone bitched about it.

I don't know, it seems like it did what it set out to accomplish- the Snyder Cut must have gotten a shitload of new subscribers to HBO Max. How many and was it profitable can't really be quantified anymore because HBO Max soon will cease to exist.

I'm just saying people are going to kowtow to the new bosses, even if they actually backed stuff like the Snyder cut before. Happens every time, but especially when the new boss has complete disdain for everything done before him.
