And for me, I'd put Prince of Darkness in the other popular thread here, Movies You Don't Get.

It has a great reputation within the horror community, but for me it's just dull. I do like In the Mouth of Madness a lot though...

I think Prince of Darkness is half great, half boring zombie-lite. I get it had a limited budget, though. Honestly, seeing Hausu a few weeks beforehand really ruined the "eldritch horror" aspect for me.

Hausu ruins all movies that you see subsequently, because after watching it your primary thought is "well now I've seen everything"

It has an interesting set up but outside of that I just found it boring as well. OTOH, I had a really fun time watching Vampires.
