George Clooney To Play 'The Fall Guy'?

Hollywood hunk George Clooney is in talks to star as The Fall Guy in a movie remake of the hit '80s TV show. Solaris star George is considering the part of stuntman and part-time bounty hunter Colt Seavers, which was made famous by Lee Majors. The Transporter star Jason Statham is set to co-star as Colt's sidekick Howie in the movie, which is set to go into production next year.

From IMDB today. I loved the show as a child I think this could work if done right. Lets just hope Lee Majors still gets to sing the song.

I don't know about this. TV show movies are very hit and miss and I didn't care much for oiginal. Still I like a lot of Clooney's movies so I will wait and see.

Who's set to play Heather Thomas?
So disappointed in her use of a body double in Zapped!

And then who would play Markie Post's character?

Oh come on! Why the Fall Guy rather than The Six Million Dollar Man? I've been saying it for years - give me Steve Austin already!

I am sure Julia Roberts will play one or the other. That will go over well here.

Hey, why not actually hire LEE MAJORS?! I'd rather see a movie about an aging stunt man (with the original in the role) than another remake with an all-new cast.

I would rather see the reruns on TV again. That show brings back memories.

At least it's not like SciFi where they would've cast some gal as Howie.

Jeezus, what's next?

Ben Stiller as Matt Houston?
Aston Kutcher and Shawn William Scott as Bo and Luke Duke?

This TV "trend" is getting annoying.

The Fall Guy (2014) (D: McG S: The Rock)

Personally, I'm holding out for The Love Boat: The Motion Picture. But for now, we get this.

http://www.thewrap.com/dwayne-johnso...ct-big-screen/

Dwayne Johnson, McG to Team on Big-Screen Version of ‘The Fall Guy’

Hyde Park and WWE are financing the project based on the 1980s TV show starring Lee Majors

A big-screen version of the hit 1980 TV show “The Fall Guy” is coming together with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to star and McG directing.

Both are are negotiating to come aboard the project, which will be financed by Ashok Amritrage’s Hyde Park Entertainment and WWE Entertainment, a source close to the project told TheWrap on Thursday.

Amritrage would produce along with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, who own the rights to the show, and WWE’s Michael Luisi. McG may also produce.

The “Fall Guy” starred Lee Majors as a stunt man who did bounty hunter work on the side, utilizing his Hollywood skills. It ran on ABC from 1981 to 1986.

Warner Bros. and DreamWorks have both considered projects based on the show in past years, with Nicolas Cage considered for the lead role.

The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report the news out of the Toronto, where the project is being shopped.

This isn't even scraping the bottom of the barrel. There is no longer a barrel.

Can big screen versions of Automan, Blossom, The Hogan Family and BJ and the Bear be far behind?

You don't dare talk about The Fall Guy without this.
