That made me curious so I looked it up, it looks like it leaked the day it was announced for Hulu, I think somebody was pissed and did that intentionally

What a fun assed fucking movie! Grillo is this movie. He’s in just about every scene and owns and narrates with the confidence of a perfect lead movie star. He has charisma, charm, humor and brings the heart. And damn is he ripped. If this were in theaters, people, the Hollywood higher ups, would notice. Hell, they still might and rightly so. This is like a mix of Source Code, which is an amazing movie, and Edge of Tomorrow: Live, Die, Repeat, which is also a movie that is a hell of a lot of fun. I think this one though has more heart and Grillo not only brings some kick ass indestructible attitude, but he also brings the heart. Right to the kind of surprising end. All the players were just great, especially the cadre of assassins. Mel chews it up, per usual. Nothing really new from him. Naomi Watts is pretty wasted for an actress of her caliber. Didn’t even mind Ken Jeong, who usually gets on my nerves. And Michelle Yeoh, though she doesn’t have a huge part, but for pushing 60, looks fucking great. This was a ton of fun, highly rewatchable and Grillo, again, is this movie and hopefully is in a ton more stuff. Rich mentioned Taken and Liam Neeson above and there is a joke about it in the movie. Nice job all around.

Knocked this out tonight. Fun little action flick. Grillo's TRT and/or HGH usage couldn't be more obvious

Oldboy, your love for Grillo rivals Why So Blu’s love for Gerard Butler. Grillo seems like a really nice guy in real life, but his acting is laughable at best.
Seiously, this was okay at best. Definitely Hulu fodder. Had some funny moments, but this was as expected from Carnahan. Disposal 90 minute entertainment. Almost boring action and bad CGI to boot.
But other than Grillo, fun cast!

Just finished watching this ... LOVED it! So fun! I had not heard of it until I pulled up Hulu looking for something fun and light after a day full of grad school work. This hit the mark.
Most of the name actors are small cameos or bit parts. Lots of self-referencing or meta-humor ... I really laughed when I opened this thread and saw Taken referenced.
Selina Lo ...
It seems as if we have been getting a slew of these day-repeat-day genre films (and shows), but I have to say I am enjoying the different spins! I was afraid this was going to go another route
I do have a question about the end though ...

^ oooh, I’m not familiar with the character per say, but have seen pictures and kinda know who he is. He came from Spidey Universe, right? As much as I would love to see him in anything and everything, isn’t Kraven really huge, like Rock huge? Not that I think the Rock would make good Kraven. Maybe Bautista. He’s great as Drax and certainly has the size and chops to pull off Kraven. But get Grillo back in MCU. He’d be a good theatrical Punisher imo.

Ugh. Even in JW, he’s a beast, but a skinny beast. Not sure about that. He’s the perfect skinny man. Bulking up to Kraven like proportions, unless CGI, seems luda...
