I can't wait to see how they work Deadpool into the MCU.

That was very funny. The type of humor the MCU really needs more of in the movies.

Not sure outside of Deadpool, who could pull that off tho. Who else breaks the 4th wall?

There was a lot of self-referencing tongue in cheek humor in Black Widow.

They don't have to though. Colossus didn't break the 4th wall. Talking to the camera can just be a Deadpool thing no matter who else tags along.

We just watched Ant-Man and the Wasp, and while it's not the same as Deadpool, it had more of the "this is a wacky situation and we're gonna kinda acknowledge it" humor.

I sort of remember that the MCU broke the fourth wall once, in GOTG 2, when Baby Groot looked directly into the camera at the beginning. I never noticed it until it was pointed out.

I think they should probably establish some rules for Deadpool, like he can only break the fourth wall in his own movies, or in a post-credit sequence. So if he makes an appearance in Young Avengers or Doctor Strange or Spider-Man, he's just a straight-character, still mouthy and snarky, but he doesn't break the fourth wall. But when he's in a Deadpool movie -- or a post-credit sequence from another movie -- he can break the fourth wall where he knows he's a character in a movie.

They could even sort of do an in-universe explanation for Deadpool -- both moving the MCU and being able to know about the fourth wall -- by saying that he has the unique ability to "see" the multiverse. Sort of like the Psycho-Pirate from Grant Morrison's Animal Man run.

I wouldn’t mind him breaking the fourth wall wherever he is, but just have the other characters be oblivious. No “who are you talking to?” moments.

I think Taika Waititi is about the only person who could successfully pull off Deadpool crossing over to the MCU. If they’re not careful it’ll come off as self parody and if done wrong could be a definite “jump the shark” moment.

Waititi made Ragnarok so so good and so much fun. Great action, humor, everything. This was very refreshing and so rewatchable. I trust him with everything. Great voice actor and played Hitler hilariously. Between Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit and Mando he’s my new fav.

After seeing Black Widow and this, I kind of want Deadpool to do commentary on MCU movies.

Only if his guest interviewer is Stephen Dorff.

Yea… that seemed pretty obvious after Free Guy’s press tour. Good to see official movement on it.

Eh, they really want to go the family friendly route. With Free Guy and Adam Project, this segue makes sense.

Fuck me!

Should’ve been obvious this is the direction they were going to go with Shawn Levy being friends with both of them as well. Awesome.

I wonder if they are going to use that Deadpool/Logan road trip idea Reynold's tweeted about last year.

This is so awesome. I didn’t expect Jackman to return again but I’m all for it. Really hope Marvel Studios allows this to be R rated.

I'm in. It's not like the MCU can get any worse at this point.
