It's really sad when Steve-O has his shit together and Bam is still acting like an entitled child in his 40's.

The only person Bam needs to blame is himself.

He's needed help probably his whole life but it got much worse after Dunn died. That seems like it was a breaking point for him that he hasn't recovered from.

When your entire career is based around acting like a bunch of teenagers, I guess it can't be that surprising when something like this happens to the leader of it.

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

I’m actually surprised that Bam is the only one who has problems. I wasn’t sure if Steve-O would ever clean up his act. Knoxville seems fairly normal and has actually had somewhat of a career as an actor outside of the Jackass franchise.

I'm sure I'll go see it as I saw all three previous movies in theaters.

From the pics it looks like they'll be handing off stunts to a younger crew.

That does look like Knoxville with the bull, though.

I love these. Perfect flicks to have a free drinks and laugh a bunch.

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

By the way, there's a Jackass "Shark Week" special that started airing on Discovery Sunday night.

Is it a series or a one-off episode?

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

I saw the Jackass special on Shark Week, and it does appear that they're going to be having the new cast do most of the stuff.

It was actually kind of underwhelming -- even though that one guy got bitten a shark and had to be rushed to hospital -- Johnny Knoxville only appeared remotely, and Steve-O and Pontius didn't really do much at all. And the two new guys didn't make much of an impression.

If Jackass Forever is just going to be more of this -- the old crew hanging around in the background and giggling while new guys fumble through the stunts -- it's going to be boring as fuck.

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

Ugh.. if that’s the case I’m less interested in this than previously. I mean I do get it that the guys shouldn’t be doing a lot of the crazy stunts that they used to, but they’re largely the appeal. I won’t care as much if it’s mostly a new crew.

I'll still give it a shot, but it won't be the same without the old crew for sure, but I understand age plays a large part in the decisions. They can't bounce back from injuries like they once could.

It's a one-off. Everybody has definitely aged. It's a tough format to work their "brand", since it has to be informative and relatively safe. The special is so-so until it takes a weird turn at the end where things get uncomfortable.

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

Forever young and still funny in the head. Check out the NEW trailer for #JackassForever and see our big dumb movie in theaters everywhere October 22, 2021.

Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast. Johnny and the team push the envelope even further on October 22 in jackass forever.

re: Jackass Forever (2022)

Still looks pretty fun. I think that Jackass 3D may have been a slightly better way for the guys to close things off since it was already eleven years ago, and they were obviously younger to more easily pull of their stunts. I’ll still watch this and I’m sure will find some enjoyment and laughs.

Bam Magera is suing Paramount, Johnny Knoxsville, and Jeff Tremaine over his firing from the new movie. Not only will he not win such a case he's burning the last bridge with the Jackass Crew. https://deadline.com/2021/08/bam-mar...tv-1234811612/

I know he was one of the guys who started things originally with CKY and whatnot, but I’ve never been that much of a Bam fan anyways.

Why wasn't he included in this one?

Numerous issues with drugs, alcohol, and mental health. He's been on a downward spiral since the death of Ryan Dunn. The article I linked explains it. As far as the movie goes its sad it got moved back but it gives me something to go to the movies for in the middle of the winter.
