Oh wow, I was shocked when I saw this listed as coming back to my local theatre for another run starting this Friday. Had no idea it was an "expanded" version. Will definitely be going to see it again. Now that the weather is cooling down, it'll be fun to be reminded of the sweaty summer.

If it's restored footage I'll go, but if they're just "extra" scenes then I will wait for the home video release.

Anyone know if the four extra scenes are worth it? (yeah, basically looking to see if anyone has any inside info).

Just watched the digital version from VUDU and there are 7 deleted scenes/ads in there. I can see why some of the scenes were deleted but the ads could have stayed in. Here's hoping that QT does that special edition of it for Netflix like he did with Hateful 8.

What a charming review. Was it published in Basic Opinions magazine?

You do know there was a "bad evil" man there in that scene too who also deserved and got a "good kickin"...right?

BTW, does anyone know if these extra 10 minutes, or whatever, of scenes will be on the blu-ray, and if they'll be in a longer cut of the movie, or presented as extras?

They will be special features/extras/supplements. There is no "restored," "extended/director's cut," or "mini-series" available on BD or any other format.

Well, the last 15-minutes were great, the first 2.5 hours on the other hand was... uneventful. I have an interest in Hollywood, more from the 1980s though, so some of the slower scenes still kept my attention, but there's no real plot and minimal character development.
That said, DiCaprio and Pitt both give great performances and Margot Robbie of course had her moments, however I could only chuckle during the theater scene when she kicked her bare feet up. Okay, Quentin, lol. 3.0/5

How were the 25 minutes of deleted scenes on the blu-ray?
Worth watching - would they improve the movie if inserted into it?

The fake commercials might, but not necessarily the actual deleted footage. I'm assuming there are more deleted scenes featuring Tim Roth and James Marsden. I'd say their scenes would be awesome to see in context. Hopefully that gets turned into the mini-series for Netflix like QT did with Hateful Eight.

Then theres a one take scene between Rick and Nicholas Hammond/Spider-Man in character, talking about acting and Hollywood which is great.
