The F4 should never take a backseat to any other characters in the MCU. Since it sounds like they are introducing a multiverse in Spidey 3, why not have the F4 and respected characters share a universe with the X-Men? The new earth could be the main MCU focus moving forward with an entirely different story to tell.
Really don't know about everyone else, but I am finished caring about the current MCU after Endgame.

Doctor Strange is definitely the one I'm putting my hopes in.

I'm pretty sure in 5-10 years they will somehow bring back RDj and Tony Stark however.

The big problem, a lot of the characters in the F4 and X-Men properties are either immortal, or have been around for a really long time. Where was Galactus, Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Mephisto, Dr Doom, Apocalypse, Magneto, Xavier, or even Logan during the Infinity War? It would be silly if they had Wanda just will them all into existence.

I'm guessing that the whole multiverse thing in Spider-Man 3 and Dr. Strange 2 will explain some of that.
And if it doesn't? They were in the back.

As someone said, i am guessing WandaVision ends with Wanda creating some serious problems with overlapping realities in the Multiverse. That will enable the multiple characters from multiple adaptations in yhe next Spidey movie, and lead into Doctor Strange where he will need to try and repair the damage. When all is said and done i can imagine two realities combining or some characters, like the Fantastic Four, being stuck in the existing MCU reality. Plot points may also drip over into the Loki series and Ant-man as the time travel in End Game surely caused some fuck ups in realities.
One thing i am happy about is that we have some great villains due down the line. Doom and Galactus should be certainties with the FF, and with Kang making an appearance its looking bright for that aspect of the MCU.

The first 3 are masterpieces. There's nothing they could improve on. They should just leave this franchise as it is.

Just don't want to see another origin movie and then at the end have them and their respective villains all magically shoehorned into the current MCU. Then the fans get treated to a formulized MCU sequel that usually involves a cameo/team-up with another current MCU character or characters. Think it would be neat and exciting to discover and explore a 2nd MCU before it all gets combined into one shared universe.
Plus, like to get a break from some of the snark and lame humor of the current MCU. I know it's a proven formula that works, but it is starting to grow a little tiresome.

EXCLUSIVE: Jon Watts has withdrawn as the director of Fantastic Four, the reinvention of the venerable Marvel Comics series at Marvel Studios and Disney. Watts just directed Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios film that grossed $1.89 billion to become the sixth highest grossing film of all-time. Nothing sinister here; Watts just needs a break from the superhero realm after completing the Spidey trilogy with Tom Holland and Zendaya. He had expected to make Fantastic Four his next film, the third feature iteration of that franchise and first since Disney acquired Fox, which controlled the franchise. Watts has spent the better part of the last decade directing and promoting the Spider-Man films, after being hired off Cop Car, a small budget indie thriller that premiered at 2015 Sundance. He needs a breather.
Both Watts and Marvel confirmed his exit, and said that it is amicable.
Said Kevin Feige, president, Marvel Studios and Louis D’Esposito, co-president, Marvel Studios: “Collaborating with Jon on the Spider-Man films has been a true pleasure. We were looking forward to continuing our work with him to bring the Fantastic Four into the MCU but understand and are supportive of his reasons for stepping away. We are optimistic that we will have the opportunity to work together again at some point down the road.
Watts said that “Making three Spider-Man films was an incredible and life changing experience for me. I’m eternally grateful to have been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for seven years. I’m hopeful we’ll work together again and I can’t wait to see the amazing vision for Fantastic Four brought to life.”
Sony and its Spider-Man producers have made it clear they expect to reunite Watts with Holland ad Zendaya to continue the series. Watts hasn’t officially dropped out of that franchise, but if it were to happen, it does sound like it would be down the road.
Watts has another strong project that might become his next outing as a director. Last September, Apple Studios won a brisk auction for an untitled film Watts will write and direct, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt playing rival “fixers” who find themselves simultaneously hired for the same job. That film’s deal calls for Apple to give the film a robust theatrical release before it hits Apple TV+. Watts is producing that film with Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures and Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.
Watts is repped by CAA and attorney Gregory Slewett.

I’ve liked the Sony/MCU Spider-Man films by Watts, but at the same time I don’t really think he’s irreplaceable. Curious who will replace him.

You got to let the whole "well where were they during Endgame??" thing go. Strict continuity is the death of good storytelling.
Figure they were either completely unaware of it (like pretty much everyone else in the universe), or they were otherwise occupied. The Big Final Battle in both Infinity War and Endgame involved all the heroes that the Avengers were aware of and/or familiar with. There wasn't like a big Superheroes Needed classified.

Make it so they were stuck in another realm somewhere and somehow get to the present MCU. Doesn’t matter where they were during Endgame.
I’d be on board with their first film starting in the 60s or so and they wind up in the MCU through whatever happens with the Multiverse.

Who says they weren't all lost in the "snap" or their powers happened to them during the 5yrs the "snap" wasn't happening? There are plenty of ways around it.
That said, I'd still rather have a standalone Doom movie first, then bring in the FF4 afterwards.
