RIP - Man Who Fell to Earth was my first realization of him as an actor but have enjoyed his body of work.

Defending Your Life is one of my favorite movies. I'm one of the few people who actually went to see it in the theater...

If he had only done that movie Rip Torn would have cemented himself as one of the greatest comedic actors of his generation. Fortunately, he did a lot of other stuff...

He had one of my favorite lines on Larry Sanders.

Lary and Artie are watching Hank's sex tape.
Larry: Is it me or is Hank really hung?
Artie: Well, the camera adds ten pounds.

I think my favourite Artie line was "That lazy bastard" in reference to Larry imagining Alec Baldwin fucking his ex-wife, and her being on top:
