Just to a reboot cartoon Gargoyles. I doubt the series has enough cache to launch a movie, but get the kiddies back into it with a new cartoon and maybe you have something. After the live action Duck Tales.

Anyone who thought they'd keep a white Ariel in 2019 is smoking better weed than I've got.

They certainly like changing the race of fictional redheads.

Disney fans on the Internet: “Why does Disney bother to remake their animated movies if they don’t change anything?”

Disney fans on on the Internet when Disney does change something: “I’m not happy with this change.”

Why not make it a live action Gargoyles directed by Quentin Tarantino ? That's gold I tell ya, pure Hollywood gold.

I guess Bella Thorne was too controversial.

I would've gone with Miley Cyrus. Bring her back into the Disney fold.

Disney is going to milk these live action films of the classics for all it's worth. What's next, Bambi?

You make a valid point. I was just hoping they’d cast a hot red head because, well....I like hot red heads.

You're not alone. Not enough fiery reds working in Hollywood now.

Reread this and just think about what you’re complaining about.

They have found the perfect deer in Michigan to play the part of Bambi, but they have yet been able to find a way to capture it alive.

I thought this as well for the longest time. I kept wondering why everyone was so focused on her race that not one person mentioned that at over 50 years of age, she was also just too old to play The Little Mermaid.

Cue internet outrage over the casting.

re: Disney’s The Little Mermaid - live action (2023, D: Marshall)

I can't wait to see who they cast in a live-action FROZEN.

I'm fine with the casting, but let's be honest - if Disney hadn't cast Aladdin and the upcoming Mulan with race-specific actors, people would be screaming about it. The Little Mermaid is Danish. She should look like a Dane.
