Why can’t we ever post pics of these entertainers? Of course I knew him, but not by name...

He was great as Ramon Cota, the main villain in Delta Force 2 with Chuck Norris.

Awesome climatic scene with them together

I remember him as the white haired gang member in Vamp. I never can figure out if it's a strength or a weakness that his character and his gang members didn't turn out to be vampires.

Who did he play in Pale Rider? Can't place him there. I do remember him in Untouchables. Great baddie. RIP.

Re: Billy Drago dead at 73

He was cool in that X-Files episode where he was some sort of voodoo practitioner cut off from the modern world. I remember a scene where he discovers popcorn and puts it in the microwave. The way he says popcorn like "poppin' corn" always made me laugh. I still say poppin' corn to this day.

The original post says that the cause of death is not known - but updated reports say it was complications from a stroke.

He was one of the random, non-talking thugs in Stockburn's hired gang.

I always liked Billy Drago. He brought the creepy in everything he did no matter what the role was. He had a very interesting face.

He was usually the craziest fucker in every movie and generally stole his scenes. Always enjoyed seeing him pop up.

RIP

Too young.

He was one of the best "creeps" in movies. A truly nasty looking guy.

I am shocked so many didn't know him by name, he was always popping up in 80s B movies.

Anyway, my favorite scene of his, and one of the greatest scenes of all time is from a little art house movie he did for the Canon group.

Invasion USA
Drago wasn't famous yet when he made this, so I wasn't aware of him at the time (THE UNTOUCHABLES came two years later). Still, when I saw this film on 42nd Street, the audience loved Lynch's move on Drago and laughed heartily. Of course, the Deuce audience cheered the bad guys all through the movie.

I knew his name really well, kind of recognized his face.Seeing the references above, I couldn't place him in anything I had seen that would give him the familiarity I had with him. Adventures of Brisco County Jr is where I was thinking of him. I loved that show.

I saw that movie once in 1985. That coke straw has stuck in my mind ever since.
