John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023, D: Stahelski) -- News, rumors, etc.
Nothing official yet, but come on... we know its going to happen...
Also...this is from an AMA with Stahelski: All of them, each for their own individual reasons. 1 was difficult because we didn't understand what we wanted to do, quite. Number 2, we had to map up a whole world we didn't think of before. 3, how do we expand and get the audience something audience something creative, not just bigger and cooler. Number 4, I'm certain, will be more difficult. |

Part of what was so great about #1 was you didn't know what to expect of the world and the little hints and reveals felt really fresh. Hell, going in I didn't even know there was a "world".
I feel like franchises lose a bit of that when they try to layout the entire world for you instead of, I guess, "experiencing" them with the lead, but it seems to be working great for them overall (Where as The Matrix started similarly small and kind of imploded on itself). Hopefully they can keep it up. |

Yeah, I think they've done a pretty good job in maintaining or improving the quality of the films from chapter to chapter while going deeper into the world building of this universe.
They've got to get Halle back for Chapter 4. She was amazing in Parabellum. |

Not only do we have Chapter 4 coming (hopefully by 2021), but there's going to be a TV series on Starz (next year?) titled "The Continental." I'm guessing that's going to be a prequel, but who knows?
I do worry about them revealing TOO much (as one of the above posters said) - part of the fun is the mystery of the organization...I almost felt they gave away too much about how it was run in Chapter 3. |

“John Wick: Chapter 4” will open more than a year its original opening date of May 21, 2021 — a date that Lionsgate announced last year in the wake to the strong opening of “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.” It will now open on May 27, 2022, over Memorial Day Weekend. |

What the hell is there to write? Point, shoot, kill in really cool ways, JW exacts revenge. I just wrote the plot for next 3 installments, before they reboot and/or spin-off Berry character into franchise.

At some point, Wick won't be on the run anymore. 5 has to be the end of his story.

I just wish they'd finish this story and move on to a new one. I'd like to see a smaller scale John Wick movie - more like the first (which is the best of the three by far).

I thought 3rd was going to be finish, hoped it would be, and gasped when wasn’t, but yes, end this story. Take out High Table which should have been much easier for Wick and get some other group trying to take him out or him doing one last kill for a friend and then end it all for gods sake.
