BTW : My son just got this for his birthday.
Picture spoiler for size. BTW this is not him pictured
Spoiler:

It's like 2 feet long and takes up half of my son's arm. But he LOVES it! You move the fingers with pulleys like a puppet. The stones light up and the glove makes sounds.
Bad news : You can't make it snap
Good news : You can flip the Thanos bird.

That thing is awesome! I've been looking for a Gauntlet that can be plugged into the wall so it lights up when I flip the light switch. I've only found one, but it's not very big, maybe 1/4 size. I want something to put on display.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (The Russo Brothers, 2019) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Count me as one of the ppl surprised there was no reference to Vision in the movie, other than maybe Scarlet Witch mentioning "those that you've taken from me" to Thanos (or something along that line).

With giving the kid from IM3 a cameo, it kind of adds another dynamic to the father-son relationship of Tony and Peter. Is this guy also a son on the side for Tony secretly? He's clearly more emotionally concerned about Peter to have a photo of him. Then again maybe the IM3 kid never got snapped, so there was no guilt for Tony to reflect on.

Also, you'd think 1970's SHIELD would have better security controls on the Cosmic Cube. It's like the centre of their entire research!

Well, the fact that he's older means he was not snapped.

He would still be a bit older regardless, as there have been several years at least from IM3 to IW.

I thought the kid in IM3 was supposed to be a young Peter Parker...

If you didn't look it up or look up who the actor was, would anyone have guessed who that kid is? Or maybe I just haven't watched Iron Man 3 in a looong time or something.

I wouldn't have. Kids age rapidly at that age and the actor has a different hairstyle too. Plus I, and likely many others, haven't seen Iron Man 3 in six years.

I remember it being announced he was going to be in it.

There was another mention of him toward the end of the film where Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch were talking to each other by the lake. I forget the line, but something where Hawkeye asks Scarlet something like "Do you think she knows we won?" and she says "I think they BOTH know." Someone who's seen the movie a few times can probably clarify the exchange.

Huh? Living in the sticks? No.

Maybe you're referring to Tom Holland saying in his mind... this kid in Iron Man 2 was Peter.

I’ve seen the movie twice, you’re right, Shannon. Vision was being referenced in that exchange.

I wasn’t sure immediately who the kid was but I guessed it was the kid from Iron Man 3, as there weren’t any other character he could be. I dunno.

No one knew who that kid was I was in the theater on opening night at the first showing and during the credits I typed “endgame funeral” and the first suggestion was “endgame funeral boy”.

Well, it's been 6 years since Iron Man 3, so it's been a long time since we last saw him, plus he's grown so he looks different.

Well yes, I get that. I had absolutely no idea who he was and I’ve watched IM3 many times and relatively recently. I just think it’s funny that the collective viewership of the movie went “who is that?”.

He was also one of the main kids in Jurassic World, which came out more recently than IM3, and I still didn't recognize him.

Weird. When I saw the movie, I took it as Wanda referring to her brother, Pyotr. But it would make sense for it to be Vision I guess.

So did most of the audience. She was definitely talking about Vision.

Seeing Peggy Carter in this movie makes me want to watch that Agent Carter TV series again. I really liked that show.

It would never happen but I wouldn't mind the alternate timeline adventures of Peggy and Cap, exclusively on Disney+.

Oh the awkwardness when Sharon is finally born and they have to babysit her.
