Rocky (1976) Director's Cut?
According to IMDB, there's a 145 min Director's Cut for Rocky. I've never heard of a such a cut existing & can't find any info for it.

There's definitely a director's cut of Rocky V (also directed by John Avildsen), but I've never heard of a director's cut of the original film.

I noticed a lot of films that don't have a cut other than the theatrical are listed as having director's cuts on IMDB.
Why is that?

According to the Wayback Machine, the "Director's Cut" running time got added to IMDB sometime after July 2, 2015, and before or on July 9, 2015.

This blog post says all of the outtakes for the original Rocky were destroyed sometime in the 80s.
the edit room floor: the lost scenes of "Rocky" part 1
IMDB does still take contributions from regular users. So someone could've made a false contribution. I've submitted an edit to delete the "Director's Cut" entry.
