Help me identify a horror movie please
This is for a friend actually, but his description seems clear enough to maybe get an answer.
Thinks it was 2000-2010 range, probably saw on cable or streaming. Says it was really intense. A demon has possessed a cop, killed the father and jailed the rest of the family. The smallest kid is able to lubricate himself to slip thru the bars. But it compresses his skull and causes him to pass out. Near the end he is in a sort of mine, which is maybe the core of the demon. He uses dynamite to blow himself up and kill the demon. The demon was trying to talk him out of using the dynamite. |

Sounds like Desperation with Ron Perlman. I think it was a made-for-TV movie based on a Stephen King book. |
