Why Hogan and not Flair? A film about the life and times of Ric Flair would be a must see film for pro wrestling fans.

I agree with the Iron Sheik. Hemsworthless is no good.
They should put Michael B Jordan to play Hulk Hogan. Not much difference since Hogan is a brother...with all that tanning.

I noticed this in the initial article :
The '70s were the "Me Decade". The Eighties were, famously, the "Al Franken Decade"
"
By the end of the '80s, he was one of the Me Decade’s key personalities, gracing magazine covers, appearing on nightly talk shows, and even headlining a Saturday morning cartoon.

Chris Hemsworth is almost comically miscast as Hogan. Hogan in his heyday was 6'6-6'7 well over 300 lbs. He had huge arms, legs, chest and big ol head. He could stand toe to toe with Andre the Giant and not look out of place. But he was never chiseled. Chris Hemsworth is like a chiseled GQ model. There's no way in hell the look is gonna work. Also I can't even begin to picture him trying to sound like Hogan, or even worse, cut a Hulk Hogan promo. Everything about his casting is wrong. It's gonna be a fucking trainwreck. Also, I get that Hulk Hogan is one of probably the top 5 most famous wrestlers of alltime, but I could name dozens of wrestlers who are more deserving of a biopic. Hulk Hogan was a larger than life talent, but outside of that his life was fairly ordinary and conventional. There's nothing that really stands out as being made for the big screen. Yeah I dunno, I'm highly skeptical of this.

He's a very good actor. He's just been playing Thor 80 percent of the time lately. Go watch him in Rush and In the Heart of the Sea...he has some range. I think the reason you don't think he's much of an actor is that he's been in a lot of movies that don't ask all that much from him.

I'm mostly looking forward to reenactments of those interviews/arguments with the host. I was never into wrestling buy remember those things as being wild.
Were they coked and roided out of their minds to put on that show?

Guess they have not casted Vince yet.
If they have Andre the Giant maybe they will have to get a unknown or do CGI
