Assuming they go in the direction, it would be an interesting aspect to these movies. We saw how psychologically damaged Laurie was in the last movie, we could see if Tommy and Lindsey are psychologically damaged in the new movies. It would be a fresh take on the series to see how one night of terror decades ago sent ripples through the lives of those how were directly involved.

That's really cool they got her to reprise her role since she could have easily blown off the offer as she's now famous for being on one of Bravo's Real Housewives shows.

Looks like they'll be doing some flashbacks to 1978: https://www.auditionsfree.com/2019/c...lloween-kills/

I have a few inside friends who told me the entire story for this one - there's def potential to be seen but the story kinda sounds like another sequel, too...
Oh, and the new mask is dope.

It’s all in the family with the forthcoming Halloween Kills, which is bringing back several big names from John Carpenter’s seminal 1978 slasher.
The latest addition to the cast is Nancy Stephens, who portrayed Nurse Marion Chambers in the original film, reports HalloweenMovies. Interestingly, as the site notes, she also appeared in the 1981 follow-ups Halloween II and 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. Here, she begins a new timeline alongside Jamie Lee Curtis‘ Laurie Strode and Kyle Richards‘ Lindsey Wallace, with Anthony Michael Hall taking over the role of Tommy Doyle and Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam.

New mask again? I would have thought they’d go with the 2018 one. Unless it’s supposed to have gotten damaged because of the ending of the last film.

That was cool. I really hope these turn out well. Prolonging, even though latest good and successful, I can I honestly say, I’m tired of this franchise and I was a late Michael adopter. I was always a Freddy man. But enough is enough. I didn’t expect or want another after how last ended, which I thought was great, but we’ll see...

As long as Jamie Lee is involved, I'm confident they will put out a good last 2 films to wrap up this trilogy. That was a cool little behind the scenes EPK.
But, Halloween 2018 had a lot of buzz & hype going into it. That's why it was a massive box office hit. I don't expect Halloween Kills to have anywhere near the same kind of buzz or box office.

Hey, her being back and a decent story can do a lot for its box office. Besides, these are always low budget endeavors, so even if this makes half the BO as the last, it’ll still be a financial success. I just hope it’s a critical and fan success as well.

Man, I want so badly to be excited by this film. But H18 was just so damn mediocre for me. I was beyond excited for it too. I really thought DGG was going to bring something fresh to it. If you had told me when I was 12 that there was going to be a Halloween movie in production with JLC and most of the original cast (minus those that died on screen and those that died in real life), and that I would be indifferent to it, I would have called you crazy. Maybe my low expectations will work in my favor, like my high expectations worked against me. Ugh.

Maybe he will be wearing Shatner's real face in this one after killing him and peeling it off at a Star Trek convention. That would take the series to another level.

There’s a couple quick glimpses of Michael Myers in the clip dex posted above. I’m not sure if that’s what is being referred to as the “new” mask. From what I saw it looks fine.

All I really give a shit about 1-2-3-4, and I find the Rob Zombie movies kind of amusing, but everything else is just completely surplus to requirements.

The Zombie films are trash. Fuck them.
I've read the novel adaptation of the Halloween film (the new one) and it's more than 400 pages long, so that acts as my director's cut. I own the film and watched it twice this week and I love it. I'm looking forward to Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

Yeah, the concept has really been played out. It's been rebooted, retooled, remade, movies decanonized, and everything else that it's hard to give a fuck about it.

I’m perfectly content only watching the original 1 and 2. I liked the newest Halloween so assuming the next two are as good, I’ll have 5 Halloween films that I’ll watch. The rest can be easily dismissed.

I wonder if they're done shooting both films, then.
