Monte (Robert Pattinson) and his baby daughter are the last survivors of a damned and dangerous mission to deep space. The crew—death-row inmates led by a doctor (Juliette Binoche) with sinister motives—has vanished. As the mystery of what happened onboard the ship is unraveled, father and daughter must rely on each other to survive as they hurtle toward the oblivion of a black hole.

This comes out on DVD/BD tomorrow. Not familiar with it, but like good science fiction. Worth a blind buy?

Claire Denis’ first English language film is a winner that goes into deeper and darker themes of human existence than your typical sci-fi film.

Tried to watch the other night.
Seemed a little silly...switched to an episode of The Boys after about 1/2 hour.

This was OK. I didn't find it as interesting as I thought I would. Pattinson is turning into one hell of an actor however.

Knowing nothing about this film, why exactly was a man and his young daughter in a deep space mission with a crew of death row inmates? That synopsis is almost crazy enough to make me want to watch.

For anyone curious enough to check out, this is coming to Amazon Prime Video on 10/3. Better than blind buying it
