Directed by Vicky Jewson, Close follows Rapace’s Sam, a female bodyguard hired to protect a spoiled heiress named Zoe (Sophie Nélisse) in what seems like a fairly straightforward job. Watched this tonite.
Started out strong, but fell apart in the final act with some questionable writing. Gives the impression there was some behind-the-scenes battles regarding which way to take the story. |

Watched this the other night as well...not much to it really. Pretty standard remake/rip-off/borrow of any number of movies. A Man on Fire came to mind right away but nowhere near as good. I would give it 2/5. Watch something else unless bored.
It is shit like this that continues to give Netflix a bad name when it comes to the movies they bail out or rescue etc. |

This was watchable but so mediocre. Noomi so desperately needs a new agent. She deserves so much better.
