Most anticipated movies of 2019

So, what are your most anticipated of the new year? I know a lot of YouTube movie vloggers are putting out these lists.

And I will most likely see all of these in the theater this year within the first week or sooner.

I'm talking stuff that you cannot wait to see this year. Of course, there are others that I will see, but these have you especially excited and want to see ASAP, not I'll see them when I see them.

Here's mine in no particular order:

1. Captain Marvel
2. Glass
3. Shazam!
4. Avengers: Endgame
5. John Wick: Chapter 3
6. Lion King
7. Godzilla: King of the Monsters
8. Toy Story 4
9. Spider-Man: Far from Home
10. Hobbs and Shaw
11. It: Chapter 2
12. Angel has Fallen
13. Joker
14. Untitled Terminator reboot
15. Untitled Jumanji sequel
16. Star Wars: Episode 9

The only ones I'm looking forward to really are John Wick and Godziilla, I keep hoping the Current Wars will get released since it was finished 2 years ago. One can hope

Sure the sequels and reboots are kinda fun, but I need some new stuff as well. Getting a little burned out on existing IP.

Re: Most anticipated movies of 2019

The only 3 I'm anticipating:

Captain Marvel
Avengers: Endgame
It: Chapter 2

Maybe Alita: Battle Angel, I'm adopting a wait and see attitude on that one...

I'll probably wait for the BDs of these, we don't do movie theaters very often anymore. The theaters around here SUCK and they cost WAY too much money.

Re: Most anticipated movies of 2019

Mostly stuff that others have mentioned.

Things I really want to see:
Avengers: Endgame
Captain Marvel
Glass
It: Chapter 2
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Spider-Man: Far From Home

Things Iím iffy on but will likely see:
Joker- waiting until I see a trailer and more is known about the story.
Pet Semetary- looks good but I may wait for reviews.
Shazam!- looks fun but I donít really care about the character.
Star Wars Episode IX- Iíll see this but am not overly excited after The Last Jedi.

John Wick 3

These will be for sure in the theater. I will probably have to see Captain Marvel to see how it ties to the Avengers though.

Re: Most anticipated movies of 2019

I'm very hopeful about GLASS because I loved UNBREAKABLE but I never saw SPLIT so I guess I need to do that soon.

Obviously I want to see AVENGERS and STAR WARS. I won't categorize my level of excitement but I need to see how things play out after so many movies.

I did not know that Tarantino had a new movie coming out this year until I saw it in this thread, and that would have to be a movie I am most excited about seeing. I won't say all his movies have been great but he has never not entertained and surprised me.

Re: Most anticipated movies of 2019

I'm looking forward to Captain Marvel, Shazam! (the OTHER Captain Marvel ), Avengers, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Godzilla King of the Monsters, Glass and Clifton Hill (small Canadian film that takes place kind of locally to me, so I'm interested for that reason). I'll see SW Episode IX because the kids will want to, but personally, I'm really burnt out on the franchise at this point so it's hard to muster much enthusiasm for it.

The Current war was released (limited) and got mostly bad reviews.
