Re: Most anticipated movies of 2019

This is like the anticipation of a Star Wars movie for mob movie fans

I hope it is good though nothing ever lives up to the hype these days except Super Bowl games.

I'm talking stuff that you cannot wait to see this year. Of course, there are others that I will see, but these have you especially excited and want to see ASAP, not I'll see them when I see them.

Here's mine in no particular order:

1. Captain Marvel
2. Glass
3. Shazam!
4. Avengers: Endgame
5. John Wick: Chapter 3
6. Lion King
7. Godzilla: King of the Monsters
8. Toy Story 4
9. Spider-Man: Far from Home
10. Hobbs and Shaw
11. It: Chapter 2
12. Angel has Fallen
13. Joker
14. Untitled Terminator reboot
15. Untitled Jumanji sequel
16. Star Wars: Episode 9
sounds good except for Hobbs and Godzilla.

Also, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, the Scorsese movie with all the goodfellas.

Really? Hobbs and Shaw is going to be awesome with DJ and Statham.

and no love for Godzilla? I take it you either didn't like or didn't see the 2014 movie.

I forgot to put Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on my OP. Not a huge Tarantino fan, but the cast has me intrigued.

Captain Marvel
Spider-Man
John Wick
Pet Semitary
Brightburn

The above I’m pretty sure are going to be solid the next bunch I want to see, but am trying to prepare for massive disappointment

Star Wars
Hellboy
Rambo
Joker
Terminator

i honestly have most, but never saw beyond first F&F movie so really don't know. i haven't seen any in theater and no need to start now with a franchise i am unfamiliar at this point with. oh, this Godzilla is a follow-up to the Cranston one? i had no idea it was even in production. that one was ok, but nothing too special. i'll see anything Tarantino. loved every damn thing he has done, from his early screenplays (True Romance) to all of his directed stuff...

i'll definitely see last Rambo as well...

Godzilla is a follow up to the 2014 film and also part of a cinematic universe that includes Kong: Skull Island. Next movie after this one is Godzilla vs. Kong

Kong wasn’t that great either, but whatever.

I really, really hope Shazam! delivers. The whole Joker but not Joker movie puzzles me.

Pretty much. If you're a fan of the MCU I don't know how this wouldn't be at the top of your list. When was the last time a movie that pulled this much at the box office ended on such a cliffhanger?
