Movie lines you've said or always wanted to in the context of real life?

So one New Year's i was with a girl i was seeing and we were getting ready for bed and i took my shirt off and let out a little grunt. i don't know from what, but she said are you ok, must be getting up there? and i said, "it's not the years, honey, it's the mileage." it was just the perfect set up and never had one like it or since. now, i did tell her after where i got the line from (give credit where credit is due), but it was just so perfect and sits in my mind to this day (the line, not the girl )

so, are there great movie lines that you've always wanted to or have said in real life?

An obvious one I think we’ve all used at one point or another: “You’re killing me, Smalls”.

I also say, “Excuse me while I whip this out”. On occasion when I’m pulling something out of my pocket.

One I’ve always wanted to use but haven’t had an opportunity is, “No fuckin’ shit, lady! Do I sound like I’m ordering a pizza?!”

I always use Bill Paxton's joke from Predator 2 at parties or social gatherings:

"So I'm at the doctor's office for a physical and he says I need a semen, stool, and urine sample. I'm like geez doc, I'm in a bit of a hurry, can I just leave my underwear?"

If that ain't the perfect ice breaker I don't know what is.

i wish i could use everything from Die Hard!!!

not a movie, but in Friends tv show, i think Chandler is in the bathroom and Monica asks him what he's doing and he says, "you want like a number?" i've always wanted someone to bang on closed bathroom door and ask me what i'm doing in there...

“WILL YOU GO TO LUNCH?! Go. To. Lunch.”

I use it all the time even though I don’t think most people know what I’m talking about.

He would say, "will you take out your penis? Take. Out. Your. Penis?"

In a holiday sweater. While doing a Frank Underwood impression.

I say “how it works is...the train moves, not the station” from A League of Their Own at least once a week while dealing with traffic.

i've also always wanted to say and least the last part of John Candy's great line from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles..."You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get."

Great thread.

How about "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."

My love of "will you go to lunch" started here. At the 4:00 mark.

And yes, Spacey's disgrace has taken a lot of the fun out of it.

Answering a response of "I can't tell" with "You can tell me, I'm a doctor". I don't think I've ever done that with a patient but I have in social conversations.

I also love to do the "it's a big building full of books. But that's not important right now." Many times. It's hard to pull off.

still waiting for the proper situation to use this line from MotB

"You remarkable pig. You can thank whatever pig god you pray to that you haven't turned me into a murderer."

Re: Movie lines you've said or always wanted to in the context of real life?

Not from a movie, but a line I'd love to put to scathing use someday: "No, Thursday's out. How about never? Does never work for you?"

Also, though I'm not a Tarantino fan, I must admit to having great admiration for, "English, motherfucker. Do you speak it?"

I have used "Take your brar off" and "A nose, Q, not a bananer" - from Crocodile Dundee and For Your Eyes Only respectively - many times in my life; the former not with a woman, alas (nor the latter, for that matter).

I used this at a Christmas gathering the other day:

"Drowned in a vat of whiskey...Oh death, where is thy sting?"
