Samara Weaving is quickly turning into one of my favorite actresses... everything I've seen of her, I've enjoyed. It doesn't hurt that she's a damn-near Margot Robbie clone.

It looks surprisingly decent. Not a huge fan of Snake Eyes or GI Joe so maybe just viewing it as a fun action movie is why I’m kind of looking forward to it. That and it’s still fairly slim pickings for movies coming out that interest me.

I'm going to take the gamble and watch this in theaters. The first one was stupidly fun. Part 2 was unwatachable. I'm hoping we can meet in the middle.

I hope this lives up to the trailer because it looks awesome... I can't help but think how I had this same vibe for Mortal Kombat (and we all know how that turned out).

Larry Hama said he liked it and the martial arts are great, even supports the changes from the comics continuity.

I'm thinking of seeing this in the theater.

I have no idea what the plot is but my assumption is that this is an origin movie of sorts. I'm not sure if that means they replace Golding later on, or he reprises the role fully masked and mute all the time (which would seem to be an absolute waste of his talents) or they just turn Snake Eyes into a regular ninja if they relaunch the full Joe team. I'm guessing the last one.

Yes, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is an origin movie of sorts.

They're showing this at the AMC in IMAX on Thursday night. Might be time to input my updated payment on AMC A-List and go for it.
