Cage has been awful for so long and it is hard to believe he actually did something good since 2007.

Blindspotting should be on more lists.
He was good in The Frozen Ground, and also gave two good performances in two Paul Schrader movies, Dog Eat Dog and Dying of the Light...But you are right, he's also done a lot of crap...Nevertheless, I usually find myself picking up almost everything he does, because more often than not they end up in $5.00 bins within a couple months of being released...

That said, I was extremely disappointed in Mandy...I expected much more from that movie...I actually prefer that movie Mom and Dad that he did recently with Selma Blair...That was a better movie, in my mind...

Re: Your Top 10 of 2018

There's too many movies I still want to see to do a list, but Eighth Grade is my favorite of the year. I don't see any other movie taking its place.

You can go to BoxOfficeMojo and see the tallies for 2018 - that should give you all the movies that were at least released theatrically.

Re: Your Top 10 of 2018

My favorites so far (in no particular order):

Annihilation
Avengers: Infinity War
Black Panther
Ant-Man and the Wasp
Ready Player One

I enjoyed:
Maze Runner: The Death Cure (wrapped it up nicely)
Deadpool 2: Super Duper $@%!#& Cut (not as good as the first one but not bad at all)

There are a few I haven't seen yet, we don't usually go to the theaters so it's up to me to provide the entertainment...

Bullshit. You're just pulling that out of your ass, obviously without seeing anything he's done.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Joe, and Mandy are all excellent films. And he's great in all 3. Mom and Dad, Kick-Ass and Snowden are pretty good too.

Re: Your Top 10 of 2018

Question: Are NetFlix movies allowed in this? (Just their movies but not their series, limited or otherwise)

Also, did no one like "Chappaquiddick"? (theatrically released in 2018 and one of the year's best, IMO, but no one has listed it so far)

Re: Your Top 10 of 2018

After seeing Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse and Bumblebee last week, those two would probably knock out Deadpool 2 and Searching from my top 10 list.

Also, I know hardly anyone here saw it, but I also saw "They Shall Not Grow Old" last week, the Peter Jackson WWI documentary. That would probably knock out Incredibles 2 from my top 10.
