True to form, another (third) cinema all star passes away. 77 seems relatively young for someone who was shaking things up almost 45 years ago.

RIP to a true legend. The Conformist is IMO one of the greatest films of all time.

Have this and Luna on the shelf, but haven't watched them yet.
These and some Roeg titles will get moved closer to the top of the active "to watch" pile.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about him the other day. It's especially odd because he's never been a director I've ever really thought about. Out of the blue I'd suddenly developed an interest in seeing Last Tango again. Don't recall what, if anything, precipitated that, just that I thought I would probably want to watch it again soon and dreaded trying to locate where I have it stashed (somewhere in a stack of eight different tubs full of discs I'll have to rummage through).
