I hope at the end of Venom 2, Carnage will redeem his bad actions and become a member of the Sympathetic Six along with Venom, Morbius, Kraven and whatever other villains they want to turn into heroes.

Russell Crowe will join Sony’s Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter.
The Oscar winner will join Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who last year signed a multi-picture deal to play the titular antihero, with the first film slated for a Jan. 13, 2023 release. Story details, including Crowe’s role, are being kept in a cage but many of the main characters are said to be Kraven’s family members.
J.C. Chandor is directing the film from a screenplay by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing.

“West Side Story” star Ariana DeBose has joined the cast of Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter,” an upcoming superhero action-adventure featuring Aaron Taylor Johnson as one of Spider-Man’s most deadly antagonists.
She will play Calypso, a voodoo priestess who is the on-and-off lover of Kraven. The character first appeared in “Spider-Man” comics in the early 1980s as an adversary of Marvel’s teen web-slinger. In the comics, she has the power of mind control and a costume that barely covers her body.

EXCLUSIVE: The Many Saints of Newark star Alessandro Nivola is set to join Sony Pictures’ Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the titular role. It’s unknown who Nivola will be playing other than it being the villain in the film. He joins a cast that includes Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger

Is a delay to October a good thing or bad thing? I always viewed the movies released in the first few months as wanting to cash in and get out. However, the long delay of Morbius did nothing to help the final product. Probably made it worse.

The teaser begins with Kraven facing off with Australian mercenaries, stabbing them in the neck and biting off one’s nose. He’s a no-nonsense Marvel antihero. Russell Crowe plays his dad, teaching him to respect the world around him, and there’s a shot of him with a young Kraven feeling the spirit of a dead cow. “We are predators,” Crowe tells the son in a voiceover.
At one point, Kraven’s brother, Chameleon, played by The White Lotus’ Fred Hechinger, tells him, “You’re just another man hunting for a trophy.”
A voice intones, “There is an animal in each one of us.”
There’s a shot of Kraven in a luxe office behind the desk with a crossbow as his victim enters. Ariana DeBose, who plays Calypso, tells Kraven, “You’re a goddamn lunatic!”
Rhino also briefly appears in the footage, “Don’t you want to know why they call me The Rhino?” as his arm morphs.
