Movies that show some footage from a console game?

Sure, we have console video games being turned into movies. Poorly so far, but I know there are some movies that show even a piece of a console game. There was one I asked about somewhere but can’t remember for the life of me. Know it was FPS.

So what movies show actually footage of a known console video game?

I know The Wizard had SMB3. Swingers had NES Hockey or something. I thought I heard about a kid movie revolving around Zelda, but what else?

Mallrats had NHL 94. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned for Sega Genesis.

The important thing is that no matter what game it is, does it use Donkey Kong sound effects?

The cinematic masterpiece known as "Cool as Ice" also features a young character playing Super Mario 3. I don't think it was actually shown in focus on camera, but the audio definitely was SMB3.

Actually, Smith wanted to use NHL '94, and that's what was played on set, but the game that appears in the finished film is Sega's "NHL All-Star Hockey" on the Saturn, because Sega paid for it.

The audio is actually still from NHL '94 though.

wasn't there a popular FPS (thinking warish), somewhat recent, that was shown for a brief time with kids playing or teens or something?

I remember recently seeing a movie and it had Sega's arcade "Altered Beast" but now I can't remember the movie.

I'm also trying to remember if it was a horror movie.

Damn this thread!

Galaga in Avengers:

Hardball in the very beginning of the Princess Bride. TV edits of the film tend to cut this bit out nowadays.

In Grosse Pointe Blank there was a shootout scene in a convenience store with a Doom 2 arcade machine, except there was never a Doom or Doom 2 arcade machine.

Cloak and Dagger (1984) featured several shots of the game of the same name being played on an Atari 5200. However, the shots were all taken from the arcade version, since the 5200 version was never completed or released.
