Any confirmation of after credit sequences (when and how many)?

I read somewhere there were two. Not really a confirmation, though.

Well, bummer. Found out too late that there was a special sneak tonight at the local military theater. However, seeing it at a 6 pm show tomorrow, review on Friday...

There are two. Mid and end. The end one is not worth staying for since it was in the trailer. It is just the
Spoiler:
ant playing the drums.
It isn't really a spoiler, but just in case.

Pretty good movie. Super fun. I didn't care much for the first Ant Man, but enjoyed this one a lot.

The first credit sequence is really awesome...
Spoiler:
the Wasp pushes the wrong button and becomes fifty feet tall, but her costume can't take it and it explodes off of her, and there's a crowd of people around her and she says "Oh, shit!" As she's standing there completely naked. While she says her line, there's a full body shot from behind and you can see her ass. I think it's the first nudity in an MCU film.

Re: Ant-Man and the Wasp (Reed, 2018) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

I thought it was pretty fucking awesome. Much better than the first one, which I missed in theaters. The 2nd credit sequence was stupid and not worth staying for.

As far as the first credits sequence goes...it was cool, but plotwise makes no sense. So you're gonna tell me that they get vaporized due to the events of IW, so where the fuck were they all that time? Did their own adventure take place in a bubble? The events of IW took days maybe weeks. There's no way the Ant Man folks did not know that the shit in IW wasn't already going down.

Anyways, small gripe, but it was a fun ass movie.

Re: Ant-Man and the Wasp (Reed, 2018) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

^I'm pretty sure most of the world doesn't know about the events of IW going down. Strange hides the Maw's space ship so the general public has no idea about the New York incident and as far as the Avengers are concerned, Scott and Hawkeye are OUT. They don't take the time to get in touch with them when the shit starts going down. The rest of the main action takes place in Wakanda, a place that is barely on the world's radar, and most of the events there go down in the course of AN AFTERNOON... so I'm pretty sure the timeline works fine.

Re: Ant-Man and the Wasp (Reed, 2018) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Thought it was great. Not sure I understand some of the complaints from some reviews (Stuckmann and a few others) who gave it a more middling score. I felt like the quantum realm stuff was set up fine in this film and the first film in particular. I suppose it might have helped that I watched the first right before this one but I’m not sure what else really had to be explained.

I felt like this one was about on par with the first personally and the first is one of my favorite MCU films. Rudd, Lilly, and Douglas are yet again a great trio. Lots of good laughs from all three as well as the supporting cast. Pretty fun action scenes, particularly with the shrinking cars and the lab.

Spoiler:
Also loved how the first mid credits scene ties this directly to Infinity War. Seems like Ant-Man will have a pretty substantial role in Avengers 4. Can’t wait to see how things play out!!

Re: Ant-Man and the Wasp (Reed, 2018) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Fun as hell. I liked the first movie, and I think this one ups the comedy and action sequences. Michael Pena is hilarious again and they manage to make the redux of his story telling unique and fun for a second movie, and Rudd does his thing as he always does. Lilly was a great leading lady and earned her title in the movie, especially with those action sequences she's in, both the hand to hand fighting as well as the car chase at the end. Heck, I even loved Randall Park's agent scenes, especially the ending.

Would have liked to see the Ghost character expanded a little bit more, but I guess she served her purpose well enough. I liked Fishburne's role as well.

Great tie in to Infinity War with the mid credit sequence, although I do wonder a little what the exact timeline is. The second end credit sequence is dumb, but I did dig the "Ant Man and the Wasp will return." bit with the period turning in to a question mark. The audience I was with seemed to love both that and the Infinity War sequence.

Re: Ant-Man and the Wasp (Reed, 2018) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Well he’s coming off two years of house arrest from the events of Civil War so it must be modern times. Presumably the main story of the film takes place shortly before the events of Infinity War and the mid credits scene is during the events of Infinity War maybe a couple weeks or so after the film ends.

I think Hannah John-Kamen is gorgeous. I didn't recognize her from Ready Player One. I did like the Ghost design and what she was able to do.

Same. First time I ever noticed her was Black Mirror.

I thought she was good looking but gorgeous? Eh I dunno. I wouldn’t turn her away but she’s not exactly knocking my socks off.

Oh, Janet was in this less then I thought. I expected to see a little more of her, maybe more of her time in the Quantum Realm. Also, what a lonely existence that must have been for the last 30 years.

She's a nice Nigerian/Norwegian mix.

She doesn’t hold a candle to Evangeline though...

Also, how about that de-aging again in this one. A prime Pfeiffer. Just amazing what they can do.

I thought her de-aging was amazing, but what irked me about her present look was her upper lip. I think she got lip injections.

I read something where Michael Douglas would like a prequel film with him as younger Hank. It would be cool but I wonder if it’s actually feasible to do an entire movie that way.

Possible. Just probably expensive and tedious. Dax Griffin is Young Hank stand in. He would be doing most of the work.

Sam Jackson and Clark Gregg will be de-aged for the whole Captain Marvel film.
