I finally checked out Day Shift (2022) on Netflix earlier today and I forgot that Scott Adkins was in it.
It's a small part but very entertaining nonetheless.

That's the most talking Seagal's done on screen in 20 years. Not a bad interview, though, despite the usual arrogance. Nice to see some discussion of the pros and cons of 22 frames per second. Interesting that Seagal always wanted to make a western; that might've been . . . interesting, back in the day.
UNDER SIEGE II, set on a train traveling through the Colorado rockies, just like many an old western, holds up well. Still my favorite Seagal film after ABOVE THE LAW, although I haven't seen that one in many years and will have to re-view it to see if it holds up..

Scott Adkins was interviewed today on The John Campea show promoting his new movie. He’s a really good interview and apparently wrote to Campea as a fan of his show and wanted to know if he wanted to do an interview.

He actually made two films that I consider modern westerns: ON DEADLY GROUND (1994) and UNDER SIEGE II: DARK TERRITORY (1995). I actually watched them both again recently along with UNDER SIEGE (1992). DEADLY GROUND has a lot of scenes on horseback in the Alaska wilderness. It remains enjoyable, although I did laugh a lot during it.

I just watched Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday tonight. I thought it was great and a solid sequel. . It does start a little rough with the goofiness and very British humor. But, it gets going at the midway point and never lets up. The hand to hand fight scenes and action were top notch. I especially loved Mike Fallon's big fight scene with the crazy killer clown who feels no pain. Lots of badass brutality. There are several awesome fight scenes. Sarah Chang was also very funny and badass as Siu-Ling.
at the ending with the bomb. If you were a fan of the 1st movie, definitely give this a watch. It's not on any streaming services yet, you have to rent it. But, I thought it was worth it depending on how much you like Adkins movies.

Ha, I couldn’t have picked Scott Adkins out of a lineup last week and so I had ignored this thread, but I just watched One Shot on Hulu and thought it was pretty entertaining. One reviewer said it felt like watching a first-person shooter game, which seems accurate. I’d watch a sequel.
