I like how the character designs are a call-back to the original Addams drawings, but wow, there's not a single laugh to be found in that teaser.

Hmm, I’m still not sure about it. I think the characters look a lot better in that style from crudely drawn cartoons than they do in a more polished CGI. I do appreciate the fact that they are trying to base it on the original drawings.

I would have liked it more if they went with Henry Selick stop motion. The CG here looks a little too slick.

Ugh. I love the Addams Family, have since I was a kid. This movie looks terrible. If they put the best jokes in the trailer (as is the norm), this movie isn't going to be funny at all.

I was so excited for the possibility of what this could've been, but it's not even close. This looks horrible.

Wasn't Tim Burton going to do a black and white stop motion movie of the Adams Family? How did we come to this?

Yes, there's been quite a buzz about it over the years if I do remember well, Burton initially confirmed than apparently changed his mind.

Never watched the cartoon...loved the original series though.
Also watched The Munsters with Fred Gwynn as Herman.

Most theaters running ONE 3D showing per day with tons in shitty 2D. No wonder I've stopped going.

This looks pretty bad. I'm a pretty big fan of the original series, cartoons and the 90s movies, but this just looks pointless.

thats too bad, I was half thinking of seeing this at the Drive in this weekend as it is playing with Beatlejuice but it sounds like its the lamefest I was worried it would be.

I'm not the intended audience, of course, but I was turned off by visual style they've chosen, which lacks any kind of edge or texture which would be more appropriate to the property. Then again, "The Addams Family" was also a Saturday morning cartoon once upon a time.

Reviews are pretty abysmal. The movie seems to have been written by a committee who never read the comic strips, barely remember the TV show, and kind of remember the movies.

Made the mistake of going based on it being an Addams Family movie. Probably should have watched a preview first. I ended up leaving early out of boredom.
