really? even the Australian region free version? heard it was better than DVD and 1080p, but some say DVD upgrade only, but the former was site i found online that seemed legit review site...

Saw this in theaters yesterday and have to recommend it seeing in on the big screen vs. at home. It's more of an experience than any of his last films. It has — and I find this hard to believe — an actual heart. It has humor. It's beautiful. And then, predictably, it all goes to hell (for better or for worse). I can't stop thinking about it.

Climax is the biggest opening for filmmaker Gaspar Noé. Distributor A24 said its $121,566 in five theaters include number one spots in “every theater it opened in, including [locations] in San Francisco and Austin.” Noé’s highest-grossing title on this continent is Irreversible, which had an $8,583 PTA when it bowed in seven locations in March, 2003, going on to cume $792K. 2010 release, Enter The Void grossed $43,651 in three locations in its opening frame, averaging $14,550, going on to cume over $336K in theaters.
The company said it will open “top markets next weekend” ahead of a nationwide roll out on March 15.

Saw this today.
Enjoyed the first half of the film but (oddly) didn't enjoy the second half. Thought it was slow & repetitive, regardless of the images on-screen.
The opening dance sequence is awesome.

45 mins of amazing dancing and talking followed by 45 mins of nonstop horrific screaming. This was most definitely an experience. Some gorgeous cinematography here.

Not Noe’s best, but still good. The choreography and cinematography are amazing, especially For something shot in 15 days.

Saw it about a week ago on Amazon Prime. I dug it, the second movie by Noe I’ve seen, much more watchable than Love. Need to check out his previous work.
