I certainly would love to see it, but at least we got a trilogy with this one. Flirting was part 2 of a trilogy (following The Year My Voice Broke), and the third was never made, and likely never will (much to my disappointment).

I remember walking out of TFA and listening to all the excited movie goers exiting the theater, talking about how awesome it was to have Luke and Rey stare awkwardly at each other for what seemed like an eternity while Rey held Luke’s lightsaber out for him to grab from 30 feet away!

And Luke’s facial movements! Was he going to speak?! Was he taking a shit in his tattered robes?! They couldn’t believe they had to wait until Episode VIII to find out!

I would have preferred the last two minutes or so of The Truman Show to be slightly re-edited to where Truman walking through the door was the final shot of the film.

I also would have eliminated that dopey “what else is on?” line (or at the very least would have made that a post-credits scene).

Yep. They absolutely bungled the ending to the Truman Show. Whatever Weir was going for showing people moving on with their lives just weakened Truman's exit from the bubble.

Yes I'm such a sucker for those endings. Adds some real emotional gravitas. Especially with Schindler's List. And to add more to that the movie ending as well with as distraught as he was saying he could have saved one more person. Powerful stuff.

Casablanca, the perfect movie with the perfect ending.

Big Fish too, my wife and I love the movie, we always cry at the end. Decided to watch it with our 12 years old daughter. First time she cries watching a movie.

Was it the first Nightmare on Elm St which ended with the kids getting into Freddy-car and driving off? Been many years but I remember being blown away by having a "bad" ending like that.
