‘CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR’ HAD A LITTLE HELP FROM THE DIRECTORS OF ‘JOHN WICK’
Before Chad Stahelski and David Leitch made their directorial debut, the guys behind John Wick worked as stunt coordinators and second unit directors on films like The Matrix, The Hunger Games and The Wolverine — to name just a fraction of their credits. And while most fans are aware of their movie history, you might not know that the duo also helped Joe and Anthony Russo on Captain America: Civil War, giving them a little assistance with some of their action sequences, of course.
Also, as has been mentioned plenty of times, nearly every big movie has reshoots. Yes, even the almighty Marvel.

(This is not on the official site as apparently this will only be played in theaters, so could get taken down at any time)

Cool. Similar to how Tenet was only in theatres. These short teases like that are much more effective in theatres than putting online.

When you take out the WB/DC logos/balloons, HQ talking to the audience and the logo at the end, it's only 7-8 seconds of quick-cutting footage, not sure you can judge anything based on that.

Really nothing to go off of in that teaser. I’m still not a big fan of Robbie as Harley.

Again, literally 7-8 seconds of actual footage. Nothing to get excited about but nothing to utterly trash either. ffs.

I didn't trash it, especially compared to others who did. I'm basing my dislike of Robbie from her previous portrayal in Suicide Squad, which I found overrated and her one liner here is enough to let me know my feelings on her haven't changed.

She was fine. Way more people liked her performance than disliked it and she was really well received. And I AM a comic nerd.
Will say I am enjoying all the people flipping out about how awful this supposedly looks from a whole 8 seconds of footage.

That teaser is like everything so far with this movie, nothing to get excited about. At first i enjoyed Suicide Squad, but each subsequent reviewing made me hate it more and more to the point where i despise that movie. Robbie looks the part and is easy on the eyes, but her performance is lacking. She comes off pretending to be unhinged (which of course she is), but a great actress would make it feel more natural and real. Plus, she isn't unhinged enough.
And that line about had enough of clowns...kind of funny how we have The Joker movie next month and early word seems to say its a masterpiece. At this stage i am pretty sure which movie i would put my money on being the better of the two.

For me I don’t like the punk Harley, and also I don’t care for the way the modern iteration of the character (which is more or less what’s being portrayed by Robbie) is trying to be a female Deadpool type character. I’ve heard rumors that her character will break the fourth wall in this film. I also don’t care for the voice she uses. It’s not distinct sounding enough for a character like Harley and instead just sounds like a lame Brooklyn accent.

I'd like to see the entire DC Universe go totally dark --- ala The Joker. I don't want a campy movie and I suspect Birds of Prey is just that.

Did Mike86 use the word "overrated" to describe one of the very few celebrated aspects of the DCEU? GET OUT!
