This looks interesting...off-beat. Great cast. Feels a bit like "John Wick" with some "Peace Hotel" thrown in there. Wow, Jodie sure looks old.
Set in riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, Hotel Artemis is an original, high-octane action-thriller starring Jodie Foster as The Nurse, who runs a secret, members-only hospital for criminals.
Foster is joined by an all-star cast that includes Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Bryan Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista.

I guess Hotel Artemis must be a competitor for The Continental.

Wow, that old age make-up on Foster is actually really good. That said, with this cast, I am absolutely in.

Weird. Thought I already posted about the red band trailer.
May not become big with mainstream movie fans but I sure want to see it.

I think I’m most looking forward to seeing Charlie Day play a character that isn’t just a slight variation of his Always Sunny role!

Saw this in front of Deadpool 2. Looks really fun! Kinda like a hospital John Wick might visit...

Most seem to be right at the recommend/not recommend line. Both positive and negative.
Negative:
A movie almost worth seeing - NY Times
[Foster is] undercut by the stubborn flatness of the drama, despite its originality and smarts. - Hollywood Reporter
Positive:
For all of its faults, there's still plenty here to praise. - Guardian
There's plenty here to like. - Consequence of Sound

Bleeding Cool says it has pacing issues with meh action scenes...bummer, I was expecting the reviews to be a lot more enthusiastic than they are for this film.
It should still be an enjoyable watch when it hits home video/streaming/cable.

This is the first movie Jodie Foster has acted in since Elysium in 2013.
Wow!
I know she directed Money Monster in 2016.
I wish she would do more movies.

Saw this earlier today. Didn't enjoy it.
The performances from Foster, Bautista & Boutella helped me get through a rough 94-minutes, which it slogs through.
The film could have benefited from a lot less exposition and a lot more action.
In this film, I felt like he was just playing bits from his character Newt (from Pacific Rim) over again.
In my opinion, I felt like his character as well as Zachary Quinto's, were some of the worst parts of the film.
