I like Schumer but her last special was god awful and this doesn't look great. I didn't hate Snatched, in large part thanks to Christopher Meloni.

She was great on her show. Brilliant stuff for the most part. But she blew up too big, and that’s not a fat joke. She and her writers can’t sustain this massive output. This movie looks like it could be a decent 4 minute sketch, but not a feature, and the trailer pretty much distilled it down to its essence and showed us everything.

I like her too. Her Comedy Central show was so freaking good. Liked Trainwreck a lot, didn’t have any interest in Snatched. I might catch this digitally or something, but I do like her for the most part and she is smart and has good views. I love when she teams up with Chuck Schumer, my senator and some type of cousin of hers...

I did end up watching Snatched from start to finish on cable and I will probably do the same with this film, maybe...I am not the biggest Amy Schumer fan out there but I am not a hater. Trainwreck was solid but it also had a great supporting cast (Bill Hader, LeBron James, John Cena, Brie Larson) which did nearly as much of the heavy lifting as Amy Schumer in the film.

I think her show is quite funny, although it seems to be dead. She did great standup and roasts early in her career. I think everything post-Trainwreck is pure shit though.

And just like that film, this one falls apart because NOBODY says the one most obvious thing that anyone in real life would say -- in this case "You haven't changed your appearance at all, you look exactly the same". If you have to accept a premise like that to make a movie's work on any level, the movie isn't well-enough written. That's asking too much for an audience to accept.

Women just aren't funny. Really? What a completely ignorant thing to say. Maybe to you. But there are plenty of extremely funny women. Stand up and sketch actresses. And btw? Ellen is probably the best female stand up ever. And I know what comedy actually is.
