Is that the line from the James Woods movie Cop? If so then I seem to remember the lines being: You're a cop you can't shoot me.
Well theres good news and bad news. The good news is your right, I'm a cop, and I gotta take you in. The bad news is I've been suspended and I don't give a fuck. kablam!!!!

You're probably right. I saw the movie once when it was brand new and always remembered that line.

Luke, I am your father.

Play it again, Sam.

Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to seduce me?

We’re gonna need a bigger boat.

I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.

Re: Movie lines you've never forgotten?

love this line from Planes, Trains and Automobiles: "Del: You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right. I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you, but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me. I'm not changing. I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get."

"What did you do, Ray? Oh shit!"
--Winston Zeddemore (Ghostbusters--the good one)

(It's not meant to be funny, but the delivery cracks me up every time)

"Why do you say this to me when you know I will kill you for it?"
--General Zodd (Superman II--theatrical cut)

(Ditto)

"Man, you come right out of a comic book."

"I woke up this morning, you know? And the sun was shining... ...and it was nice... ...and all that type of stuff. And the first thing, I saw you.
And I said: "This will be one terrific day, so you better live it up....because tomorrow you'll be nothing."

Might as well write em off. Let's close up the bridge, let's get out of here. Close it up, lights out.

Re: Movie lines you've never forgotten?

My favorite movie line was for National Lampoon’s Vacation. It was opening night, and the staff of the radiocarbon dating lab I interned at in high school went together. We had all read the short story in the magazine months earlier, and were pleasantly surprised to later learn they were making a movie. We dressed in Hawaiian shirts and had a blast.
