I’m going to be in Canada on Thursday through next Tuesday. But I will see this on Thursday night at a Cineplex theater over there. Yeah I checked out some of the early reactions and it’s mixed. This isn’t a Top Gun reviews wise it looks like.

I was reading some of the positive reviews and this sounds like a bad movie. I think I'm skipping this one in the theaters.

Why So Blu?

Yeah, I changed my mind. I do not want to see this anymore - canceled my ticket. Not even an IMAX screen will make this one not suck. They've all sucked after the first one but I don't seem to learn my lesson.

Apparently the review embargo doesn't lift for this until Thursday at Midnight.

It's a long movie too. 2 hours and 26 minutes.

I just bought my ticket for a Sat 12 pm AMC Theater Dolby Theater showing. Used a Fandango Gift card. I have no regrets and look forward to watching. The theater was filling up fast, and it is only Wed morning.

I am proud to read that some of the folks who constantly post in Jurassic Park/World threads that they hated the movie they just watched, or knew they would not care for the movie but saw it anyway, are sticking to your guns and not seeing this film in theaters. So many people say these movies suck and yet they spend their money for a ticket, good on those of you who are taking a pass on this film. I am not one of those DVD Talkers who moans about these films and is always asking myself why I bought a ticket, I just accept that if I read enough reviews (both positive and negative, or in-between) I will know what I am in for and take the plunge.

I'm still planning to see it later tomorrow night when I arrive in Canada, but yeah the early reactions have been very mixed at best. I follow Scott Mantz and usually agree with his opinion and him saying it's bad really says something. He was absolutely in love with Top Gun Maverick and I think he saw it 4 or 5 times. Doesn't sound like he'll be revisiting this one.

I've read plenty of negative things already, but I think I'm going to see it Friday or Saturday. Not expecting a lot after the previous entry, though.

39% ouch. This will probably open semi big, but have a massive drop week 2. Probably unlikely this gets much repeat viewings.
