Michael Bay movies. Because Iím human. Whatever his special touch is. Donít know. Itís like crying during a good Garth Brooks song.

I also have some kind of abnormal sensitivity. Like an emotional problem.

There really is something about Robin William's movies. Something about the authenticity and sincerity he plays his roles makes it seem more...real(?) He can make you laugh one second and cry the next. What Dreams May Come was definitely a heart wrenching movie. And that one scene in Patch Adams as well.

Another Robin William's movie that I bring up a lot as a guilty pleasure of mine is Bicentennial Man. Oddly enough the scene I'm bringing up isn't about Robin Williams but Sam Neil. I'm a sucker for stories that involve the passage of time, especially for a specific character of family. This particular scene takes place right after Sam Neil's character's daughter's wedding (wow that's a lot of possessive nouns lol). It's just Sam Neil and Robin Williams, as an android, enjoying the afterglow of the reception. Sam Neil asks to see a playback of the day and Robin Williams projects a hologram of the father daughter dance. It's a beautifully shot scene with an equally emotional score. At first he's smiling and happily remembering the moment until it hits him. The change in his expression is heart breaking as he comes to the realization that he's given away his daughter. It's masterfully played by Sam Neil and really hits the emotional strings. Personally especially as a father of girls but even before I became a father. Maybe it doesn't make me outright cry it's still a beautiful scene.

Nothing wrong with expressing emotions. But is it to an extreme point?
