Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. Currently at 55%
Suffering under a tirelessly "hip" script by Gluck and Rob Lieber, not to mention James Corden's typical desperation to please in the title role, poor Peter is only slightly less appealing than The Simpsons' focus-grouped pup Poochie.

I know these type of movies aren't really DVDTalk's cup of tea, but I saw this tonight and thought it was super cute. It's predictable as a kids/animal movie, but there's enough gags that amused me considerably. Especially the running gags with the birds and rooster. The animation for all the rabbits are excellent, although some of the other animals not so much.

This was much better than I expected it to be. I laughed quite a bit. Took my son to a matinee and I enjoyed all the kids in the crowd giggling throughout.
