Searching for a movie

HI, yes I am a newbie and not sure if I'm doing this correctly.... But... I am searching for a movie I seen. Can't remember the title. It was about a couple out on somewhat of a camping trip sorting out their troubles. But I remember a Dead Sea animal that was leaving a trail to them. They found a family dead in their station wagon. Try as they might they couldn't leave this area. The husband ended up the survivor trying to leave but kept ending up where he started. Seems like nature was against them... Anybody know the name of this movie?

Seriously, though, how long ago did you see this? There's a movie called Dead Sea, that came out a couple of years ago.

You are undoubtedly talking about the great, underappreciated Australian film Long Weekend (1978). It was remade a few years ago, but I haven't seen the remake and can't be arsed to do so.

The remake wasn't bad ... you can read my review of it here! Nature's Grave

Might be worth seeing, Kurtie, but the original was much more than just a "nature's revenge" flick.

It was actually a couple of years ago on HBO, lol. It main characters were a married couple who were having trouble. Somewhere toward the end of the movie she tells the husband she is pregnant but having an abortion.

I think this why the creepy things are happening and they can't leave... Thanks for responding.

I just googled it and that's it. Thank you... I have never seen the beginning of the movie and I liked what I saw. Just couldn't remember the name of it.Although "Nature's Grave" is the version I saw.

Yea, it was late at night when I watched it. I couldn't remember everything that happened in it. Seem like mother nature was pissed at them about something lol.
