Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.

In theatres November 17th.

This looks maudlin and overly sentimental. The book is a huge hit with the 14 and under set.

No question. My son's class (7th grade) just finished it. It wouldn't surprise me if they schedule a field trip to go see it.

Yeah, I loved this movie. My kids said it was one of their favorite movies they had ever seen. Love the way the movie gives nearly every character a section of the movie.

exactly. it wasn't just about Auggie, but every character was somewhat fleshed out and you felt for each and everyone. every actor killed their parts, big and small...

I enjoyed this quite a bit. Heartwarming and poignant without getting too maudlin. Do some aspects fall a bit outside reality? Sure, but overall this film has a good message and the performances are solid. This ought to win the Oscar for best make-up; it looked flawless.

Also liked how the focus was on different characters, offering up varying perspectives and reasoning behind actions.

Treacher-Collins Syndrome is, indeed, a very real disease.

I hope more people are watching this now that it is more readily available. This and Thor: Ragnarok are tops of 2017. This one shocked the hell outta me...

Wow, I was expecting a little more discussion.

Watched it last night with the family we all loved it. As pointed out, the way the movie is broken up by character was interesting and helped flesh out characters that would have been lost in a traditional narrative. Highly recommended.
