Not me. It's a big enough spectacle/event that I'll go and see for myself. Another one I always do this with is Transformers movies. They transcend movie reviews. It's like going to an amusement park and reading up on rollercoaster reviews instead of just getting on.

The trailers showed big battles in abandoned cities that are on fire. Sounds like it’s a lot of that, another bad CGI villain, embarrassing catch phrases and forced drama. I’ll probably catch a matinee but I have zero expectations that it’ll be much better than BvS.

For reference, Man of Steel was 55, BvS was 44, Suicide Squad was 40, and Wonder Woman 76.

Far from perfect, yes. Better than the crap DC has been cranking out, yes. Id put Wonder Woman above it, but not MOS, BVS, or SS.

Considering WW is the second highest grossing film in the US this year with over $400 million and a RT score of 92%, I would have to argue that they did at least one thing right so far.
I would say the issue has to do more with Zach Snyder more than anything. If you find a good director that can tell a fascinating and entertaining story, you are at least heading in the right direction. Zach Snyder is not that person, unless you find slow motion and bloated storytelling fascinating.

Have ... HAVE ... should HAVE moved on ...
Sorry redrum, just a pet peeve of mine. A few years back somebody in my workgroup put together a presentation for our CEO titled Who would of thought and it was a touchstone line throughout the whole presentation. I cringed the whole time.
... and yet this doesnt bother me. Im a lunatic.

Was really looking forward to seeing this, but after reading some of the negative reviews, I think I'll skip it this weekend and go check out that Tyler Perry Halloween movie instead.

Hell no, I like to read my internet mumbo jumbo, not watch it.
Richard Roeper gave it a 3.5 out of 4
The guy on RogerEbert.com gave it a 3 out of 4
Owen Gleiberman for Variety gave it a strong review
USA Today gave it a 3 out of 4
WaPo a 2.5 out of 4

I have my ticket for tonight, but I was able to get it free (theater reward points), so I don't have much to lose, other than time. Expectations are low, so hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised.
