Seeing the movie with a military audience i am pretty sure means that they will love almost anything with mindless action put in front of them.

Wonder Womans movie was good.....not amazing.

A step down from Ares in WW? Ares was HORRIBLE in that movie, so Steppenwolf must be truly awful.

https://www.polygon.com/2017/11/14/1...e-league-score

Rotten Tomatoes announced yesterday that it would be holding back the “fresh or rotten” decision for Justice League until Nov. 16 at 12:01 a.m. ET, almost 24 hours after the review embargo lifts. The idea is to drive attention to Rotten Tomatoes’ new Facebook series, See It/Skip It, which will essentially tell people whether most critics liked Justice League or hated it.
Well that's interesting.

^^I think this will be the case. Though many will be loath to admit it.

But seriously, A guy I work with who's hardcore Marvel and not really into DC saw a screening last night and he said he "loved it".

Hey Orbi, without spoilers, how is the violence level in this one compared to BvS? BvS was pretty violent for PG-13, IMO, but curious since I took my kiddos to that one.

I wouldn't call these spoilers, but just in case.

Spoiler:
A lot of Amazonians are killed when Steppenwolf emerges from the "box" but not graphically, mainly thrown around violently. Steppenwolf and his bug drones kill some STAR Lab employees, again not very graphically, but they are still dead. The fight between Kal-El and the rest of the team when he wakes up gets pretty rough, then kind of turns funny. The final battle with Steppenwolf and the drones is very similar in its violence level to the Avengers fighting Ultron's bots, but not as much blood.

I would say it is not on the level of BvS or even MoS.

Hope that helps.

I figured someone would say that since he’s directing Aquaman and it would look bad if a director of another DC movie cricized Justice League.

I disagree. IMDb rating doesn't count for anything, especially without the movie even being officially released yet.

Anyone can (and does) vote it a ten or a one without even having seen it.

How did that one make it to the screen?

I have had serious doubts about this movie, but i get the feeling i might end up enjoying it more than expected. I jist hope that it doesnt suffer from Suicide Squad Syndrome i.e. repeated viewings only make the experience progressively worse every single time.

Spoiler:
I think Steppenwolf said Darkseid once, and said something about preparing the way for him. I don’t remember specifics.

Ive seen so many clickbait headline about RT delaying the score, when all they are doing is promoting themselves and using Justice League to do it.

I saw it. I realize that’s what they said. That doesn’t mean it’s the only reason this is happening.
