NEW YORK, New York, March 19, 2019 – Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. (“21CF”) (NASDAQ: TFCFA, TFCF) announced that it has today completed the distribution of all issued and outstanding shares of Fox Corporation (“FOX”) common stock to 21CF stockholders (other than holders of the shares held by subsidiaries of 21CF) on a pro rata basis (the “Distribution”). 21CF and FOX are now each a standalone, publicly traded company. FOX Class A common stock and FOX Class B common stock are now listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market (“Nasdaq”) under the symbols “FOXA” and “FOX,” respectively. 21CF Class A common stock and 21CF Class B common stock, which were formerly listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “FOXA” and “FOX,” respectively, are now listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “TFCFA” and “TFCF,” respectively.
The Walt Disney Company’s (“Disney”) acquisition of 21CF will become effective at 12:02 a.m. Eastern Time tomorrow, March 20, 2019.

So important question. Can I get Disney Movie Rewards points for Dark Phoenix movie ticket purchases? 
I guess that one is pure profit now for Disney, because they didn't sink any money into it, but can still dump it into theaters in a few months and just collect the money.

Exactly. Yes, they bought the studio obviously, but they would have done that anyway. The fact that Dark Phoenix is all done and coming out so soon after the merger is like bonus money.

Imagine if Infinity War was Marvels 3rd movie instead of it's 20th!
It's kinda like when Doomsday killed Superman in his 2nd movie - no one cared, because there was no impact because nothing was built up towards it.

They did it weird. I mean First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix are all tied together. So it’s not technically right away, but Jean along with Scott and Storm were only introduced in the last film so there’s not a lot of build for the story to have much impact as we haven’t seen much of them, and we won’t see more of them after this film.

Oh I understood. I was more referring to spending an extra $20 billion means everything they just bought essentially has an additional cost to it whether they fronted the production cost or not.

It’s so crazy seeing Bart up there amongst other Disney characters. That one feels the weirdest to me and the one it’ll take a while for me to wrap my head around that shows like The Simpsons now belong to Disney. Deadpool feels a bit more natural since he’s a Marvel character, even though completely different than his MCU extended family.

You can actually watch cricket on the ESPN + app. But it airs at odd hours because of the time differences. So that's weird they would put cricket on that banner.

The Simpsons will still air on Fox, which is now Disney. I think Djaryia meant Fox News rather than broadcasting.
