4. Dr. Loomis who after getting his skull crushed by some miracle is still alive and is now a greedy annoying prick.
5. Laurie's friend Annie who we thought was killed in the first film is also now alive.

I think Rob Zombie's directorial chops are just fine, but he needs to let other people write the screenplays for his films, or at least hire better writers to polish his own work for credit.

Maybe I am more optimistic but I never saw them die. I saw them getting shot but it was in slow motion so they can fit in Free Bird.

If the plot involves Dr. Satan bringing their bullet-riddled corpses back to life, could be interesting. My only concern is Zombie making this look cheap, due to budgetary reasons. "31" looked like a low-budget movie. "Devil's Rejects" was shot by a legit DP and this film needs to have the same aesthetic to work.

Count me in. Loved The Devil's Rejects, especially William Forsythe's crazy performance. And the mammoth 4-hour making-of documentary on the disc is awesome...
Hated, hated, hated The Lords of Salem...the less said, the better...
Don't actually mind his Halloween movies...At least they weren't shot-for-shot remakes...He definitely had a unique take on the series...While I don't like them delving into Michael's backstory, and I have a lot of problems with the movies, they aren't all that bad...And again, the special features on the discs are pretty interesting, whether you like the movie or not...

Zombie stuck to a 20-day shoot for "31" due to a limited budget (according to his commentary). Unless he has a larger budget, I would imagine the same schedule. No idea about a release date.
